Contestants must be at least 18 years of age, and must provide proof of age upon registration. 2. Contestants will be judged in the following categories : Evening Wear / Formal Wear (Guys); Talent; and Onstage Question. 3. Talent presentation will be limited to 7 minutes. Set up time for large-standing props are allowed three minutes before presentation to be displayed. 4. Any type of talent presentation is acceptable, except those that may cause injury to the audience or any other person. No pyrotechnics or open flames. Music must be turned in on CD. You should have your talent number recorded as Tract 1 of your CD and your crowning number as track two of the same CD. Do not use commercial CD’s or have any other music on them as they will not be accepted. 5. The use of, dispensing of illegal drugs will not be tolerates while a contestant is participating in this pageant. Immediate disqualification will result for those that break this rule. 6. Any contestant, dancer, helper, etc who is caught in the act of smoking, stealing, or tampering with another person’s possessions or an altercation with other dressers or contestants will be immediately disqualified and removed from pageant venue. 7. Club Icon reserves the right to make any decisions concerning any matter not covered by these rules and regulations. 8. No excessive glitter, fire, water, unwrapped straw/hay or live animals may be used in any category in this competition. ORIENTATION WILL BEGIN AT 8PM THE DAY OF THE PAGEANT. ANY CONTESTANT ARRIVING AFTER 8PM WILL BE DISQUALIFIED WITHOUT REIMBURSEMENT OF PAGEANT ENTRY FEE. So please get there on time ! ************************ ENTRY FEE (NON-REFUNDABLE): $30 (from 2/8/10 to 3/13/10) $50 (from 3/14/10 to 33/27/10) THERE WILL BE NO ENTRY FEES PAID ON THE DATE OF THE PAGEANT. On behalf of all the people involved with making this pageant a success, I would like to say thank you. We look forward to seeing you showcase yourselves and vie for the title of ICON ILLUSION. This year, ICON ILLUSION PAGEANT has initiated a 3 Contestant Minimum for all TITLE categories of the pageant (MISS, MR., & MISTER). In the event that the 3 Contestant Minimum is not met, then the Title Category of that shortage will be canceled. Example: If only 2 Male Contestants competing for MR ICON ILLUSION have filed for entry by March 27, that part of competition will be canceled and all entry fees paid will be reimbursed to the contestants. This 3 Contestant Minimum will ensure that any person who wins the title of ICON ILLUSION, will have done so in a professional manner, surpassing at least two other contestants in their Title Category, to claim the title of ICON ILLUSION. In addition, the promoters of ICON ILLUSION have decided that no one associated with the pageant, on the club level, will divulge any names of any contestants who file their entry fee. This is to ensure secrecy of the contestants running as well as ensuring a fair contest. The Prize Package for this Pageant is As Follows : 1st Place Miss, Mr., and Mister ICON $150 NIGHT OF PAGEANT $150 NIGHT OF GIVE-UP 4 BOOKINGS ($ TO BE DISCUSSED INDIVIDUALLY) CROWN / SCEPTER ****************************** I, the undersigned have read and agree to these rules and regulations. I agree to release ICON Nightclub, its management, staff, and employees, of any liability in association with said pageant at said venue. I also agree to the taping and photography at this event, and understand it may used at the sole discretion of ICON Nightclub for promotions, websites, etc . . . I agree to hold harmless Icon Nightclub, management, staff, and employees of any incidents which may occur by my participation in this event.
